A 70 year-old man, identified as David, on Thursday, slumped
and died after an alleged sex bout with a married woman in an hotel in
the Government Reservation Area of Benin City.
According to a member of the deceased’s family, the septuagenarian
left home without disclosing where he was heading to. He was sound dead 45 minutes later.
The source said it was the police who called the family to
inform them that the old man was at the Benin Central Hospital, but was already dead at the time.
It was gathered that the doctors on duty told the family
members on arrival that the man was brought in dead.
But, the deceased’s relatives are suspecting foul play.
They nearly mobbed the woman with whom the septuagenarian
allegedly had sex before policemen took her away.
