Bama residents flee as Boko Haram strikes again

An unspecified number of people have been killed in Bama town of Borno state by members of Boko Haram.
The dreaded Islamic sect reportedly attacked the town around 4am Wednesday.
Though details about the strike were still sketchy, residents of the town were said to be fleeing in their hundreds.
Just few hours to the attack, Doyin  Okupe, Senior Special Assistant to President Goodluck Jonathan on Public Affair assured Nigerians that the government is winning war against terror in the land.
Okupe was responding to an earlier outburst of Borno state governor, Kashim Shettima, who said the militants were better armed and motivated than the Nigerian soldiers, adding that Federal Government was losing the war.
